PAUL'S CHRISTIANITY

This essay argues that Paul of Tarsus — far from faithfully transmitting the teachings of Jesus — fundamentally contradicted and dismantled them. Drawing on Matthew 5:18–19, the author contends that Jesus explicitly upheld the Laws of Moses and warned against anyone who taught otherwise, a description that fits Paul precisely. The essay further notes that the core doctrines of modern Christianity, including the Son of God theology and the doctrine of Atonement, trace back to Paul rather than Jesus. Unlike the prophets before him, Paul performed no miracles to authenticate his authority, and his sole credential was a private, unwitnessed vision. His name change from Saul is read not as spiritual renewal but as strategic rebranding. The central argument is that what most of the world calls Christianity is, in fact, Pauline theology — a reconstruction of Jesus's message, not a continuation of it.
